2003 – Art dealer and researcher Andrey Kondrashov opened an antique shop on Arbat Street in Moscow. Before that, for many years he was involved in buying, selling, studying, and discovering various types of antiques – mainly Russian icons, but also many other antiquities.
2006 – Our gallery began exhibiting at the International Antique Salon in Moscow.
2008 – We opened a gallery on Prechistenka Street in Moscow. It was one of the first commercial galleries in Moscow where paintings by Old Masters such as Lucas Cranach, Domenico Puligo, and Jan Brueghel Jr. were exhibited.
2016 – Andrey Kondrashov opened a gallery in Florence (Italy), on Via Maggio. The gallery specializes in paintings by European Old Masters and Russian icons.
Throughout much of the history of the Arbat Fine Art Gallery, we have discovered masterpieces that had gone unrecognized by other art dealers before us. Some of them are mentioned in the Discoveries section, where we continue to post works by famous masters discovered by our team.
