Arbat Fine Art Gallery found a unique Russian icon from the 13th century. Very few icons of this period and artistic value have survived to the present day. We are proud to have contributed to a major scholarly discovery. Currently, this beautiful icon, painted in the “Hodegetria” iconographic type, is in a private collection.
